The education boards are almost ready to release the results of the SSC exams, which are facing uncertainty due to the coronavirus. However, the results are not being released before Eid, said Mahbub Hossain, secretary of the secondary and higher education department of the education ministry.
For the first time in Bangladesh’s history, results of Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent exams will reach examinees’ or their guardian’s mobile phones through SMS.
SSC Result Pre-Registration System
To know about SSC and equivalent results, pre-registration will continue till 24 hours before publishing the result. SMS should be sent to 16222 with the text.
This time, the education boards have made it easier to know the results through text messages. Manjurul Kabir, the senior systems analyst at Dhaka Education Board, told Prothom Alo that pre-registration has started from Monday. Those who pre-register will get the results early.
However, the SSC Results can be known in a short message in the same way as before. If pre-registration has been done in the new system, the result will be informed on the mobile of the concerned examinee. For pre-registration, you have to send SSC Board Name (first three letters) Roll Year from any mobile operator’s number to 16222. Two rupees will be charged for each SMS.
SSC Exam Result 2020
The SSC exam was held last February. The total number of candidates was about 20 lakh. On the other hand, the SSC examination was supposed to start on February 3rd, 2020. The total number of candidates in this year’s SSC examination is more than 20 lakh.
The results were to be released in the first week of this month if there was a normal time. But because of Corona, it is a matter of surprise. In this situation, the education boards said a few days ago, the results will be released within this month. Preparations have been made for that purpose.

This year, the SSC exams began on February 3, with the theoretical and practical tests ending on February 27 and on March 6 respectively.
Some 20,47,779 students took part in the SSC and equivalent examinations held at 3,512 centers.
Monjurul Kabir said that like previous years, results will be also available on the education board website.
